What's the Rush?

I’m a little late dropping this post today because I was busy redesigning the website (you should stop by & check it out) — but honestly, the timing fits the theme perfectly.
Why is everyone in such a rush these days?
We want fast growth. We want immediate results. We want instant satisfaction.
And we want it all right now.
But thoughts like these steal the joy of simply taking steps in the right direction. There’s nothing more disheartening than putting in the work for three months straight and still struggling to see, recognize, or appreciate the changes your mind and body have already endured.
Rushing the process of bettering yourself isn’t the answer.
So, when you find yourself spiraling between “I’m doing the work” and “Why isn’t anything happening yet?” refer to this post — because here’s the core truth:
Your wellness journey isn’t slow because you’re failing — it’s slow because it’s working. Real change takes time to integrate, settle, and reveal itself.
And the key is simple: Pace yourself & trust the process.
Why We Rush (Even When We Know Better)
Because the rush is a symptom of doubt, not a sign of lack.
When we rush ourselves, we’re trying to outrun discomfort instead of learning from it. But when we pace ourselves, we build resilience — the kind that actually lasts.
Here’s what fuels the rush:
Instant gratification — We’re conditioned to expect results on demand.
Comparison culture — Everyone else seems “ahead,” so we panic.
Fear of stagnation — Slow progress feels like no progress.
Misleading expectations — “4 weeks to a new you” sets people up for disappointment.
But none of these reflect your truth. They reflect your environment — not your capacity.
So, Let’s Rejooov
1 — Pace Yourself
Honor your capacity
Honor your season
Honor your nervous system
Honor your humanity
Pacing isn’t weakness — it’s strategy.
2 — Trust the Process
Trust isn’t passive. Trust is active. Trust is a daily choice to keep showing up even when the results are invisible.
3 — Expect Delayed Payoff
The payoff is coming — but it’s not always loud. Sometimes it’s subtle:
You react differently
You recover faster
You choose yourself sooner
You speak up more clearly
You rest without guilt
Those are results. They just don’t look like the ones you were promised.
The Trap of Rushing
Rushing through your wellness journey is a rookie move we all fall into but it's a surefire way to burn out.
Before you fall into that trap, ask yourself:
How can you expect to make changes that stick if you don’t trust that the results will show up in time?
If you truly want a different life, it takes work — repetitive, slow, and sometimes daunting work.
Trusting the process builds the resilience required to see things through.
You didn’t become the person you were overnight. Your thoughts, experiences, and actions over time brought you here. So, give yourself the grace to change without stressing over how long it’ll take.
Forever is a long time — why not fill it with the intent to keep growing within the process of Rejooov?
Love & Light,
– Cina
