Don't Let Life Just Happen to You.

Hey, hi, hello — I hope you’re well :)
If you checked in last week, we broke down why It’s OK to NOT be OK — but not OK to stay confused about why you feel the way you do. That conversation sets the perfect stage for this week’s truth: You decide how your life goes.
How it progresses, stagnates, maintains, or sustains itself.
It’s OK to not be OK because you’re not letting life just happen to you. You’re strategizing, adjusting, and evolving your wellness practice as you move through your days.
So, let’s get into it.
Raise an eyebrow if you’re one of those folks who only live for the weekends. 365 days in a year… and you’re choosing to fully live less than 30% of them.
Congratulations — you played yourself.
But hopefully, by practicing this rejooovism, you’ll find the space to strategize and make room for living every day, not just Saturday and Sunday.
As you already know, self‑discovery and self‑exploration sit at the root of the Rejooov wellness process. Nothing changes if you aren’t open to learning yourself.
So here are five things to figure out this week to embody this rejooovism:
1. Your Self‑Care Routine
Self‑care is more than a buzzword — it’s the daily, weekly, and monthly practices that support your wellbeing. Washing your face every morning, brushing your teeth, moving your body at least three times a week, checking in with yourself at the end of each month — these are foundational.
Find the small joys and schedule them in. Let them grow into consistent rituals.
2. Your Movement Practice
If you struggle to prioritize movement, revisit this earlier rejooovism. Find a method of movement you enjoy and integrate it into your schedule. Thirty minutes to an hour a day can shift your mood, your energy, and your outlook.
3. Your Hobbies & New Experiences
The things you’ve always wanted to do? Make time for them. The things that caught your eye recently? Explore them.
I believe everyone should have at least three hobbies — but the more the merrier:
Just for fun — knitting, karaoke, gaming
Keeps you fit — running, skating, strength training
Makes you money — vlogging, woodworking, social media
Inspires creativity — art, music, dance
Keeps you learning — languages, gardening, reading
4. Your Connections
You don’t have to wait for the weekend to connect with your people. Call them. Text them when they cross your mind. Schedule lunch dates. Meet for walks. Hit the gym together. Explore each other’s hobbies.
Brunch is cute — but it’s not the only way to build community.
5. Your Presence
Time travel seems fun until you realize the past holds regrets and the future holds worries. The present is the gift.
Practice gratitude for your current state. Acknowledge the good around you. Put energy into what fuels you, not what drains you. Stay mindful so you remain in tune with your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.
That’s how you actively live a life you can enjoy.
It all boils down to strategic planning and refusing to over‑ or undersell yourself.
After each month, reflect. Adjust. Keep what worked. Tweak what didn’t.
It may seem like a lot — but honey, it’s your life.
If you want more out of it, you have to put more into it. You get out what you put in.
See you next week.
Love & light,
— Cina
